The Opportunity: Responsible for the Foundation’s on-going communications with – and stewardship of – TKE alumni, the Director of Communications & Stewardship plans and implements multiple strategies to engage the social fraternity’s 230,000 living initiated members. Allocation of responsibilities: Communications: roughly 50%; Stewardship 40%; Travel, 10%.
Reporting to the Foundation’s CEO and working closely with the Annual Fund Manager & Advancement Specialist, the CSD reviews and updates the Foundation’s web content, creates webinars, develops programs for appropriate frequency with disparate audiences. Also collaborates with Annual Fund Manager to develop direct mail appeals and special giving initiatives and is responsible for ensuring accuracy of records, research, and business processes.
The Qualifications: The successful candidate will have earned a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, marketing or nonprofit management. He or she will bring demonstrated abilities and hands-on experience of MS Office Suite, member service skills (professional phone and email etiquette) and experience exercising sound judgment based on the highest ethical standards.
