Jefferson Award Finalist: DFCA

[vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” text_align=”left” background_animation=”none” css_animation=””][vc_column][vc_column_text]Jefferson Award Finalist: DFCA – Often called the Nobel Price for community service, the Jefferson Awards, a program of the national nonprofit Multiplying Good, is sponsored locally by the Rotary Club of Cincinnati partnering with The Cincinnati Enquirer and WKRC-TV Local 12. At the 27 March Rotary Club meeting, three finalists were introduced by Local 12’s Bob Herzog with videos of the three indivicuals produced by WKRC-TV.

 

Angie Newcomb Ferguson was recognized as a Finalist. Ferguson, founding Executive Director of Drug Free Clubs of America (DFCA), leads the national nonprofit engaging high school students, parents, positive school cultures and a caring, vigilant community to combat drug abuse in the nation’s schools.
