The Mount – Seeking Chief Executive Officer

Situated on a beautiful 160-acre campus in Perry County, Ohio, Mount Aloysius currently serves 75 adult male residents with intellectual disabilities (ICF/IDD). Fiscally sound with a $11.5MM operating budget, the 8-member Board of Directors is seeking an experienced professional with a visionary and entrepreneurial spirit and personality to be the external “face” of The Mount. The successful candidate will have developed an open door, roll up the sleeves working style as an on-campus leader with a warm personality to continue genuine relationship-building momentum with the local community. The new executive will have an understanding and appreciation of the cultures of the region and familiarity, if not first-hand experience, in the intellectual and developmental disability field. Working with a recently approved ambitious strategic plan, the new CEO will be expected to think outside the box as a creative and strategic visionary. Experience building and sustaining resource development efforts will be helpful. Exemplary communications, presentation, and coalition building skills are a must. An undergraduate degree is expected, advanced studies or certifications helpful.

 

Position description includes: Strategic vision and leadership – Nurture a strong and transparent working relationship with the Board and ensure open communication about the measurement of financial, program, and impact performance against stated milestones and goals. Development – Formulate and execute comprehensive marketing, branding, and development and fundraising strategies that will ensure consistency throughout the organization and enhance revenue from diverse sources, i.e., government agencies, grant-making foundations, partnerships with area businesses, and individual philanthropic donors, as appropriate. Strengthening infrastructure and operations – Support and provide encouragement and recognition to The Mount’s compassionate and dedicated employees, Board, and other volunteers.

 

Attractive compensation package awaits the CEO including a starting salary in the range of $140,000 to $155,000 commensurate with experience, three weeks’ vacation, health, wellness, vision, and life insurance, seven paid holidays, and a 403B plan.
