C-Suite Opportunity – To make a real difference in Greater Cincinnati by leading and guiding the growth of a dynamic 111-year-young Cincinnati mission-driven membership service organization – a 501(c)(4) – whose 300+ members live by the principle, Service Above Self.


Organization – The Rotary Club of Cincinnati has built a storied tradition of service to the community in many ways, but with a special focus on supporting children with disabilities. This club is among the oldest in the global network of 35,000 clubs with a collective membership of 1.2 million. Role – The Executive Director of the Rotary Club of Cincinnati reports to a term-limited 14-person Board of Directors and is responsible and accountable for the smooth operation of all aspects of the very active club typically meeting every Thursday at noon. Aided by an experienced assistant and a part-time membership coordinator, the ED provides disciplined and creative leadership to an engaged membership, its Board of Directors, and the Club’s Foundation Board. Committed to serving others and making things happen locally and globally, activities range from supporting children living with disabilities to the eradication of polio.


Expectations The successful candidate can demonstrate a history of true positive leadership experience, unmatched interpersonal skills, and an unquestioned commitment to the ideal of Service Above Self.  S/he will have a high degree of sensitivity working with volunteer leaders of diverse backgrounds, personalities, and professions and the presence and gravitas to interact and build strong relationships in a consultative leadership style.
