Founded in 1995 to serve Wayne and Holmes Counties, VSC is an accredited Rural Health Clinic providing comprehensive care at no charge to qualifying patients and to those with Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance. In addition to high-quality medical and dental care, services include mental health, wellness education, sexual and reproductive health, medications, and related resources. As a safety net to lower income patients, the Clinic’s solid financial base, modern offices, and dedicated staff provide professional and dignified care to all. Member, CHN.

The position  

Reporting to an 18-member Board of Directors and guiding dedicated administrative and operations staff numbering 22, the Executive Director (ED) is the “face” of the clinic to the community, its partners, donors, and regulators. Practical management skills responsible for growing an already financially solid nonprofit are essential. Successful candidate also will bring demonstrated leadership experience, genuine passion for serving the Clinic’s special population, and entrepreneurial vision, in this case to prepare and secure eventual FQHC or Look-Alike status.
