Profile of the next Executive Director (ED)

Reporting to a 12-member, term-limited, Board of Trustees, the successful candidate will want to become an engaged community member bringing to WCA proven leadership skills with a genuine appreciation and commitment to the arts. As the new face of the Wayne Center for the Arts, the Executive Director will be expected to enhance the visibility and programming of the county’s oldest and most comprehensive visual and performing arts organization. Leading a dedicated part-time and full-time staff of 24 and managing an annual budget of $636,000 — with an endowment of $2MM — the ED will be accountable for nurturing and expanding established donor relationships while developing new alliances with those who will become devoted, passionate, supporters of WCA.
